Terms of Service

Myna Recorder is provided by Myna Recorder, an Israeli sole proprietorship; contact details are on our legal information page. These terms apply from the moment you create an account or install the software. You must be at least 16. If you use it for an organisation, you confirm you may accept these terms on its behalf.

1. Your licence

We grant you a personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to use Myna Recorder according to your plan, for personal or commercial work. You licence the software; you do not own it.

One licence key activates one computer. The key is tied to your account email, and both are needed to activate. To move machines, sign out on the first. A machine that has not checked in for 30 days loses its seat, and the next computer you activate takes it over.

You may not share, sell or publish your key; circumvent activation or the seat limit; reverse engineer the software except where law permits regardless; or redistribute or repackage it. Exported programs are covered in section 6.

The free plan is provided at our discretion. We may add, limit, change or withdraw free-plan features at any time, without notice; the pricing page shows the current split. What a paid period includes is fixed when you pay for it (see section 7).

If you think someone else has your password, change it (that signs out every computer) and tell us at support@mynarecorder.com. You are responsible for what is done through your account until you do.

2. What the software does

• While recording, Myna Recorder captures key presses and pointer movement across your whole computer, not only in its own window. It cannot tell a password box from any other. Anything you type while recording is saved, including passwords.
• Recording and script files are stored unencrypted in your Documents folder. Any backup or cloud-sync tool with access to your profile can read them.
• A macro can press keys, launch programs, open files, and restart or shut down the computer. There is no undo, no sandbox and no confirmation. Keep backups of anything you would mind losing.

3. Acceptable use

Use Myna Recorder only on a computer you own or are authorised to administer. You must not install it on someone else's machine to observe them, capture other users of a shared computer, or monitor anyone without the notice or consent the law where they are requires.

You must not use it to:

• gain unauthorised access to any system, account or data;
• test or stuff credentials, or create accounts in bulk;
• send spam or unsolicited bulk messages, including through the notification integrations;
• commit fraud, including advertising or click fraud;
• defeat CAPTCHAs, rate limits or bot detection;
• harass, stalk or surveil anyone;
• build or conceal malware;
• interact with any service in breach of its terms; or
• do anything unlawful where you are.

It must not be used where failure could cause injury or serious harm: medical, vehicle, aircraft, industrial control or emergency systems. It is not designed or certified for those.

We may suspend or terminate any account we reasonably believe is in breach, without refund. We are not obliged to monitor use.

4. Software and services you automate

Some software and online services restrict or prohibit automated interaction in their own terms. It is your responsibility to know what you are permitted to automate, and to have authorisation for any system that is not yours.

If a provider restricts, suspends or closes your account, or you lose access to anything held in it, that is between you and them. We are not liable for it, and it is not a ground for a refund.

5. The AI assistant

The assistant's output is not reviewed by a person or tested on your computer, and can be wrong. It is a suggestion, not advice. Nothing runs until you approve it; from then, responsibility is yours.

When you send a message, you instruct us to transmit to our AI provider your message, the names of your image crops, recent conversation turns, and the entire script in your editor. Reading text from the screen instead sends an image of the selected part of your screen.

If your script contains a password or other sensitive text, it is transmitted. Do not put secrets in scripts, and close anything you do not want uploaded before using screen text reading.

You own the scripts generated for you and we claim no rights in them. We cannot promise output is unique. AI use consumes credits; the underlying model may change.

6. Exported programs

An exported program contains the recording, every image crop it uses, and any Telegram bot token or Discord webhook the macro sends to. Anyone holding the file can extract them.

You may share exported programs, but not sell them as a product whose substance is our software. When you give one to someone, you are distributing software: tell them what it does, and comply with the law where they are. We have no relationship with recipients and provide them no support or warranty.

7. Payment

Paid plans are sold by Paddle, the seller and merchant of record, who handles payment, invoicing and tax. Your purchase is subject to their terms as well as ours.

Paid plans are monthly subscriptions and renew automatically at the then-current price until you cancel. The amount, the interval and the next charge date are shown before you pay and on your account page.

You can cancel at any time from your account. Cancelling stops the next charge and takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for.

The credit allowance resets at the start of each billing period and does not carry over. Credits already spent are not returnable. Credit packs are a one-off purchase: they never expire, can be spent only on a plan that includes AI, and are refundable only as the refund policy says.

We may change prices, and what each plan includes, with reasonable notice, effective from your next renewal and never mid-period. Refunds are covered in our refund policy, which forms part of these terms.

Statutory cancellation rights apply to a contract, not to a person. We may decline to sell a further subscription to anyone who has repeatedly subscribed and reclaimed the payment, and may treat serial re-registration as a breach of section 3.

8. Warranties and liability

Except where the law says otherwise, Myna Recorder is provided "as is". We do not warrant that it is free of faults, compatible with any particular application, that any macro will work, that image matching or text reading will be accurate, that AI output will be correct, or that any particular service permits automated interaction. Beta features carry no warranty at all.

Availability. We offer no uptime guarantee, and the AI features are unavailable while our servers are.

We do not limit liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Subject to that, we are not liable for lost or corrupted data, anything a macro does, loss of any third-party account, anything arising from AI output you chose to run, credentials you embedded in an exported program, or lost profit or indirect loss.

Our total liability in any 12-month period is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, and to zero if you paid us nothing.

Nothing here removes rights you have as a consumer that cannot be excluded. If you are a consumer in the EU, UK or Israel you keep your statutory rights in full, including remedies for digital content that does not conform to what was described.

9. Termination

You may stop using Myna Recorder at any time and ask us to close your account; the privacy notice says what happens to your data.

We may suspend or terminate your licence if you materially breach these terms, if payment fails or is reversed, or if required by law. Where reasonable we will warn you first; for serious misuse we may act immediately. Sections 8 and 10 survive.

10. General

Intellectual property. Myna Recorder, this website and the name are ours. Your recordings, scripts and projects are yours; we claim no rights in them. The software includes open-source components under their own licences, listed in the notices file shipped with it. IP complaints to legal@mynarecorder.com.

Changes. Every version carries a version number and effective date. For material changes we will give notice and ask you to accept before continuing.

Law. Governed by the laws of Israel, with the courts of Tel Aviv-Jaffa having jurisdiction. If you are a consumer this does not deprive you of the mandatory consumer laws where you live, and you may bring proceedings there.
